1. VPN must be ON

If drives rely on private IPs → no VPN = no access.

2. Remap the drive

Sometimes Windows forgets.

Map again with your private path (example format: \192.168.x.x\folder).

3. Permissions

If another user created the folder, you may not have rights.

4. After restart, drives missing?

Enable “Reconnect at sign-in”.

5. If share comes from another desktop

Ensure that desktop is online and connected to VPN.
