Desktop as a service

🔍 Symptoms

  • VPN won’t connect
  • RDP says “Cannot connect”
  • Connection works from one device but not another
  • You get “network error” instantly

✅ Steps to Fix

1. Check VPN

If you use OpenVPN:

  • OpenVPN Connect must be green (Connected)
  • If orange or red → reconnect
  • If it loops → internet firewall may block UDP 1194 or 443

2. Restart VPN

Close the app → re-open → reconnect.

Most connection issues vanish here.

3. Try a different network

Some corporate Wi-Fi networks block VPNs.

4. Ping the private IP

If you cannot ping the internal IP (ex: 192.168.x.x) → VPN is not passing traffic.

5. RDP fails?

Check:

  • Your username (Administrator or your assigned user)
  • Correct IP (private IP if VPN → public if no VPN)
  • Firewall rule didn’t get removed accidentally

If still not working → contact support, we reset the RDP service or firewalls instantly.
